
The city’s parks department announced its fall events, as reported by KRDO on Sept. 29.
Highlights: Harvest Festival at Rock Ledge Ranch on Oct. 3 (10 a.m.–4 p.m.; pumpkins $6); Motorless Morning in Garden of the Gods on Oct. 4 (5 a.m.–noon); free Fossil Day at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center on Oct. 10 (10 a.m.–noon); a free Halloween costume exchange at Deerfield Hills Community Center on Oct. 9 (4–6 p.m.); and a free trunk-or-treat at the Garden of the Gods center on Oct. 25 (1–4 p.m.).
Free trunk-or-treats also run Oct. 30 at Hillside Community Center (6–8 p.m.) and Oct. 31 at Westside Community Center (6–8 p.m.). Fall Pickleball Nights are Oct. 14 and 28 at Westside, 5:30–7 p.m.
