Pooler Council Postpones Vote on 116-Acre Mixed-Use Development

Pooler City Council voted 4–2 on Sept. 21 to postpone a rezoning decision on “The District,” a proposed 116-acre mixed-use development, Savannah Agenda reported.

The plan includes up to 1,060 residential units, 440 hotel rooms, a 100,000-square-foot grocery store and an amphitheater.

The postponement gives an independent traffic consultant time to review the developer’s revised traffic study, which the city will pay for.
