Each city nominates and elects its own editor. The people vote. One vote per device per candidate. If you don't like an editor — don't read that city. Turn it off. It's privately owned. GenX. We're not going to put up with bullshit. Nominate a candidate →

The pledge: The Gazette is privately owned. The editors are elected by the people of each city. An editor runs their city desk — picks what to cover, what to skip, what to call out. The owner (EAS) keeps the lights on and the publishing lane open. If a city elects someone you can't stand, don't read that city. If you can't stand the whole paper, leave. No one is making you look.
